GED PROGRAm- Referral
General Equivalency Development or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) tests are a group of four subject tests. Throughout the program, we equip students with study materials and tutoring so they can be successful when taking these tests. Upon passing, students will receive a certificate which is equivalent to a high school diploma.
We provide basic computer training using Microsoft Office XP which includes MS Word,
MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access (which will only be taught if the job you are seeking requires it). We also provide generalInternet (www). The skills taught will be enough for the individual to
obtain an entry-level job.
COACHING & LIFE SKILLS
Life Skills coaching will help define one's identity both personally and professionally,
while sorting out conflict through conflict resolution techniques. The
program will also help develop a customized life plan designed to fit one's needs

We offer clients and the general public a way to get their legal documents notarized. Our services are professional, secure and we operate with excellence. We also offer copies as well so you have the correct amount of documents you need. There is a price for these services but they have been adjusted to be affordable for our clients.
CRIMINAL RECORD EXPUNGEMENT INFORMATION SEMINARS
This monthly session provides information about eligibility requirements and the step-by-step process for obtaining criminal record expungement. Participants must bring a copy of their criminal record background for assistance. We also do Georgia Crime Information Center background checks for $10.00.
The Job Readiness program provides intensive training in developing positive work
attitudes, ethics and habits. We also work on setting and achieving goals;
communication techniques; & developing a positive self-image. Lastly, we focus on how to conduct a successful interview.
OSHA 30-Hour training for construction and general industry prepares supervisors and workers to avoid workplace safety and health risks. Acquiring an OSHA 30 DOL card proves to employers that you have completed 30 hours of OSHA-authorized training on critical workplace safety topics specific to your industry. Supervisors and workers with this credential have gained knowledge and skills that help prevent injuries and keep workplaces safe and productive.
An OSHA "competent person" is defined as "one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them". Through this training course, an individual becomes knowledgeable of applicable standards, can identify workplace hazards relating to the specific operation and has the authority to correct them.
Through this training with our partnered agency, everyone will have the opportunity to become skilled in the carpentry field. It is a four (4) week training program, and one will also gain the certifications in OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR, and AED. Other certifications are available via various apprenticeship programs.
